About Us

VISION:We envision complementary efforts among Uganda’s evangelical entities, broadly acting in synergy to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to the joy of all God’s people.

MISSION:ACEMU exists as a networking platform to encourage and enable evangelical mission entities in Uganda to effectively connect, communicate and collaborate in their various mission aspects, for efficiency and quality service output

OBJECTIVES:ACEMU’s overall aim is to facilitate a sustainable common front for the evangelical church in Uganda to carry out her missionary task within the country, and to the rest of the world.

In furtherance of the above-mentioned vision and mission, the objects for which ACEMU is established are herewith elaborated:

a. As a missions’ awareness forum:

ACEMU is set up to serve as a setting of building awareness and creating understanding between individual Christian mission entities in their specific mission roles and tasks, in their shared Gospel work by building a profiling for each organization.

b.As a missions’ coordination forum:

ACEMU is set up to encourage and support the coordination between various evangelical Christian mission entities through information sharing and dissemination.

c. As a missions’ events forum:

ACEMU is set up to hold annual or otherwise periodical mission conferences and workshops that display stakeholders’ ministry activity calendars, initiate helpful discussions that build trust, and encourage relational formation for co-workmanship across evangelical denominations and various Christian mission groups.

d. As a missions’ research forum:.

ACEMU is set up to serve as a platform on which missiological research is initiated and findings collected for sharing with other Gospel workers in order to establish the strength, weaknesses, opportunities of Christian work as well as threats to the church and social welfare.

Remarks At The Launch

Dr. Dickson Obwoya
Anglican Church & Life Ministry - Uganda

Under this facilitation, members sought to outline specific defects in collaborative prospects. God does not insist on uniformity for all, but on unity in the diversity that shades His world and gives different colors to our approaches, methods and contexts for mission.

Bishop Joel Obetia
Anglican Church & UCU

Under this facilitation we assesed plain possibilities, preferences, intrests, Uganda's spiritual terrain, Ugandas'Christian history, the lessons we have learnt and today's yearnings..

Dr. Julius D. Twongyeirwe
Baptist Church

Collaborative actually is in itself Gospel witness to the world. Christian witness is beyond synergy, because "being brought to complete unity, lets the world knowthat the father sent Son into the world to save mankind."

Mr. Joel Skinner
Africa Inland Mission

We need to encourage training as an urgent undertaking for a kingdom mentality in order to work together. Inorder to realize suitable and stable misson structures, there is a need for a conducive arrangement through which local churches can enlist, train, send and support missionaries in indigenous mission movements.
